About Zoe Atkin
British-American freeskier (dual GBR/USA citizenship) born in Newton, Massachusetts, who moved to Park City, Utah to train alongside her older sister, 2018 Olympic slopestyle bronze medalist Izzy Atkin. Turned pro at 14 and won her first halfpipe World Cup gold at 16 (Copper Mountain, 2019). Enrolled at Stanford University in 2022, studying symbolic systems and AI, while continuing to compete. Won World Championship bronze (2021) and silver (2023) before completing the set with gold at the 2025 World Championships in Engadin (93.50 pts, coming from 9th after the first run to beat Li Fanghui by half a point). Jointly won the halfpipe Crystal Globe with Li Fanghui in 2024-25 - the first time the trophy has ever been shared - then won it outright in 2025-26 with a finals win in Silvaplana. Added Olympic bronze at Milano Cortina 2026.
Won halfpipe gold at the 2025 World Championships in Engadin with 93.50 points, beating Li Fanghui by 0.50. Took the halfpipe Crystal Globe in 2024-25, shared with Li Fanghui in the first shared Crystal Globe in freeski World Cup history, and won it outright in 2025-26 with a win in the Silvaplana finals. Reached her 13th career halfpipe World Cup podium at Aspen in March 2026.
