About Yukiya Sato
Japanese ski jumper from Sapporo who represents the Megmilk Snow Brand Ski Team. Made his Olympic debut at the 2022 Beijing Games. After a difficult 2022-23 season in which he failed to qualify for more than 10 World Cup events, he rebuilt his form on the Continental Cup circuit and earned a return to the World Cup via the COC quota in 2024-25, scoring World Cup points for the first time in nearly two years.
2022 Beijing Olympian. Career interrupted by a poor 2022-23 season (failed to qualify for over 10 World Cup events), followed by a COC-quota comeback in 2024-25. Did not appear in the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics results (active on the WC/Continental Cup circuit instead that season). User's claim 'Japanese World Cup jumper' confirmed.

Skis per FIS's official athlete database (Skis: BWT).
Ski jumping race ski produced and supplied by BWT (Best Water Technology), an Austrian water-treatment company that states on its own corporate site: 'BWT is the official ski jumping producer and thus supplier of selected top ski jumping athletes' - i.e. BWT is the equipment brand itself (not merely a sponsor logo on another maker's ski), comparable to how Red Bull's Van Deer/Augment operates its own ski brand.
