About Vincent Kriechmayr
Austrian alpine ski racer specializing in super-G and downhill. 2021 world champion in both super-G and downhill at Cortina d'Ampezzo, becoming only the third man in history to win the World Championship speed double (after Hermann Maier and Bode Miller). Won the Beaver Creek super-G on 5 December 2025 for his 19th career World Cup win (10th in SG) and finished the 2025-26 season runner-up in the super-G discipline standings behind Marco Odermatt. Won his first career Olympic medal - silver in the team combined - at the Milano-Cortina 2026 Games.
World Cup record: 19 wins (10 SG, 9 DH), 40 podiums (24 SG, 16 DH) through the 2025-26 season (Wikipedia, standings through 28 Feb 2026). Note: only one super-G win is confirmed for the 2025-26 season (Beaver Creek, 5 Dec 2025) per Wikipedia's season-by-season win list; a claim of two 2025-26 SG wins could not be independently verified and is not reflected here.
Sponsors: Energie AG (main personal sponsor, since 2010); equipment: Head (skis and boots, since June 2020, 'HEAD World Cup Rebel') - per Energie AG and HEAD official press releases. Helmet/goggle/pole sponsor not identified in available sources.
