About Victoria Olivier
Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer and all-rounder competing across all disciplines, born in Au, Bregenzerwald, Vorarlberg; races for WSV Au Bregenzerwald and is a graduate of the Skigymnasium Stams. Won parallel slalom and team gold plus slalom bronze at the 2022 European Youth Olympic Festival in Vuokatti - the most successful alpine athlete of those Games - then added team silver and super-G bronze at the 2022 Junior World Championships in Panorama, Canada. A torn ACL and bone bruise suffered in October 2022 Pitztal training cost her the entire 2022-23 season. Returned to win a surprise downhill gold at the 2024 Junior World Championships in Haute-Savoie, earning a World Cup debut at the 2024 Saalbach-Hinterglemm season finale (DNF). Scored her first World Cup points in giant slalom at Kranjska Gora in January 2025 (29th) and posted a 4th-place World Cup downhill finish at Zauchensee in January 2026. Her father Heinrich is South African-born; her brother Christopher Olivier is a professional footballer.
