About Vebjørn Sørum
Norwegian biathlete from Gjøvik, who broke through in 2022-23 after being called up as replacement cover for Tarjei Bø, Johannes Thingnes Bø, and Sturla Holm Lægreid, then won World Cup relay gold in his own World Cup debut stage (Östersund, March 2023) alongside Endre Strømsheim, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, and Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen. His individual breakthrough came with a maiden World Cup win in the 20km individual at Ruhpolding (January 2025).
Sponsors: Madshus (skis) - per Madshus's own official team blog, in which teammate Endre Strømsheim names Sørum among the Norwegian development-team athletes skiing on Madshus.
