About Tiemo Rolshoven
German freeride skier based in St. Anton am Arlberg, Austria, known for a smooth, controlled riding style and disciplined approach to big-mountain terrain. Finished 2nd in the FWT 2024 Challenger Region 1 to earn his spot on the Tour, entered the 2026 season ranked 9th after a strong 2025 rookie year, and capped his second season with two 5th-place finishes (Val Thorens, Alaska Haines) and a 3rd place at the Xtreme Verbier, finishing 4th overall.
BROADLY CONSISTENT, not strongly verifiable either way. His FWT nationality is confirmed as Germany, and multiple sources describe his riding as smooth, controlled and technically disciplined, consistent with the 'technical skier' framing - though no source documents a formal alpine-racing background specifically. He is based in St. Anton am Arlberg, a legendary technical-skiing hub, which may be the origin of the characterization. The plain label undersells his current form: he finished 4th overall on the 2026 Freeride World Tour with a 3rd-place finish at the Xtreme Verbier, a much stronger showing than 'technical skier' alone conveys. Equipment: Instagram bio confirms Nordica as his ski sponsor, plus Peak Performance and SCOTT Freeski; no source names a specific personal ski model beyond the Nordica brand.
