About Therese Johaug
Legendary Norwegian cross-country skier (IL Nansen) widely regarded as one of the greatest distance skiers in history: 10 individual World Championship gold medals plus 4 relay golds, a four-time Olympic gold medallist, and a three-time World Cup overall champion (2013-14, 2015-16, 2019-20). Retired after the 2022 Beijing Olympics, then announced a comeback in August 2024 aiming for a 'last dance' at the 2025 World Championships in her home city of Trondheim before retiring for good in May 2025, less than a year before the 2026 Olympics.
FIS bio lists current residence as Oslo. Also runs her own eponymous apparel/skincare brand 'Johaug' as a personal business venture - this is not a gear/equipment sponsorship and is not reflected in the sponsors field.
Sponsors: Fischer (skis, boots); Swix (race poles) - per FIS's official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated equipment field).
