About Sarah Höfflin
Swiss freestyle skier (SC Meinier) from Founex, near Geneva, now based in Chamonix. A late starter to the sport, she only took up freeskiing in her early 20s at British Universities' Snowsports Council competitions after graduating from Cardiff University with a neuroscience degree, and was scouted by the Swiss Freeski team coach in May 2015. Won her first Crystal Globe in her debut 2016-17 World Cup season, then won slopestyle gold at the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics and a Winter X Games big air gold the same year. Became the first woman to win the slopestyle Crystal Globe twice, in 2019. Won big air silver (170.75 points) at the 2025 World Championships in Engadin - her own website describes her as reigning 'Vice World Champion in Big Air (Corvatsch 2025).' Continues competing at a high level in her mid-30s: won the Tignes big air World Cup (20 March 2026) and the Silvaplana slopestyle World Cup (28 March 2026), and per her own account has become the first woman to land all four ways of double corks.
2018 Pyeongchang Olympic slopestyle gold confirmed via Wikipedia and her own site. '2025 World Champs BA silver' confirmed both via the official FIS Engadin 2025 Women's Freeski Big Air results page (2nd, 170.75 pts, behind Flora Tabanelli) and her own website, which independently describes her as 'Vice World Champion in Big Air (Corvatsch 2025)' - Corvatsch is the peak above Silvaplana/St. Moritz where the 2025 Worlds were held, consistent with the Engadin venue.
Sponsors: Faction (skis, currently riding the Studio 1, 90mm waist park & pipe twin-tip) - confirmed via Faction's own current athlete page under 'What does Sarah Hoefflin Ride?'. Also lists Monster Energy, F.P.Journe (watches), Columbia (apparel), POC (helmet/goggles, no specific model listed) and Team Genève as sponsors on her own official website's sponsors page; no specific POC model confirmed so no goggle/helmet gear row added.
