About Rell Harwood
American freeskier (Park City Ski & Snowboard) from Park City, Utah, on the U.S. team since 2018 and a University of Utah graduate. A three-time X Games medalist (gold, Knuckle Huck, Aspen 2025; silver, Knuckle Huck, Aspen 2024; bronze, Big Air, Aspen 2024) with two World Cup podiums (3rd Aspen 2025, 3rd Stoneham 2025) and 22 World Cup top-ten finishes. Her career has been repeatedly derailed by ACL tears: first in September 2021 (missing the entire 2021-22 season and any shot at Beijing 2022), then her left ACL in March 2025, and a third tear in December 2025 - just weeks before the Milano Cortina Olympics. Rather than undergo surgery, she chose to compete on the torn ACL, making her Olympic debut in big air qualifying six weeks after the injury (skipping slopestyle to conserve strength for big air).
Won X Games Knuckle Huck gold in 2025. Tore her ACL for a third time in December 2025 and chose to compete without surgery, making her Olympic debut in big air qualifying roughly six weeks later and skipping slopestyle to conserve strength.
