About Novie McCabe
American cross-country skier (Alaska Pacific University Nordic Ski Center), born in Winthrop, Washington, and the daughter of former US Olympic cross-country skier Laura McCabe. Raced collegiately for the University of Utah, where she won multiple NCAA championship titles, including a sweep of the 5km freestyle and 20km classic at the 2023 NCAA Championships in Lake Placid. Made her World Cup debut in November 2021, represented the US at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, and was named to the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympic team in January 2026. Best individual World Cup result is 7th (10km mass start, Val di Fiemme, January 2022). FIS's biography lists her current status as 'Active (injured, --)'.
FIS's current club listing (Alaska Pacific University, her post-collegiate professional team) differs from Wikipedia's infobox club (University of Utah, her collegiate team) - reflects her transition to the pro circuit, not a conflict.
Sponsors: Fischer (skis, boots); One Way (poles) - per FIS's official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated equipment fields).
