American freestyle skier (full name Nicholas Charles Goepper) born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, raised in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Originally a slopestyle specialist: bronze at the 2014 Sochi Olympics, silver at both the 2018 PyeongChang and 2022 Beijing Games - a three-time Olympic slopestyle medalist. Stepped away from competition in 2023 amid publicly-discussed mental health struggles, then returned specifically to pursue halfpipe. Took X Games halfpipe silver in January 2026, finishing behind Finley Melville Ives.
