About Miha Fontaine

Canadian aerial skier from Magog, Quebec; son of former Aerials World Champion Nicolas Fontaine. Joined the Canadian national team in 2019 and made his World Cup debut in the 2020-21 season. Competed at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, winning bronze in the inaugural Olympic mixed team aerials event alongside Marion Thenault and Lewis Irving (13th individually); also competed at the 2021 and 2023 World Championships (22nd and 17th individually) and the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics (15th individually, 5th team). Won his first career World Cup medal - bronze, 107.73 points - at Lake Placid on 12 January 2026, behind China's Li Xinpeng and Wang Xindi.

FIS competitorid=236140. Note: his FIS bio's results table also shows moguls/dual-moguls entries from March 2026 Canadian Nationals (St-Sauveur) - these appear to be a one-off crossover/multi-discipline national-championships appearance rather than a discipline change; his career and Olympic/Worlds selections are all in aerials, so discipline_cat is set to freestyle/Aerials only. FIS official bio's Skis/Boots/Poles fields are all blank.
