About Maya Cloetens
Belgian biathlete who broke out explosively as a 21-year-old junior: five IBU Junior Cup podiums in a single month (December 2022) earned her call-ups to the World Cup, the 2023 European Championships, and the 2023 World Championships in Oberhof, all within weeks of still being a junior athlete.
Sponsors: Madshus (skis, boots) - confirmed via Madshus's own official blog post ('Madshus Has Signed 4 New World Cup Biathletes'), naming her alongside Endre Strømsheim, Emma Lunder, and Ragnhild Femsteinevik (the latter also in this database) as a new Madshus-sponsored athlete ahead of the 2023-24 season.
