About Maxime Chabloz
Swiss freeride skier and 2022 Freeride World Tour overall champion, runner-up in 2023. Also a decorated kitesurfer (3x Junior Kitesurfing World Champion). After a rough 2025 Pro Tour season marked by crashes and lost rhythm, he dropped off the Pro Tour roster and spent the 2026 season rebuilding on the FWT Challenger circuit, finishing 4th overall to requalify for the 2027 Freeride World Tour.
Chabloz did win the FWT overall title in 2022 and followed it with a runner-up finish in 2023 - a genuinely strong peak. Also notable and unrelated to skiing: he is a 3x Junior Kitesurfing World Champion per FWT's bio, and per Stöckli's article added a senior kitesurfing world title in summer 2024 - a genuine cross-discipline achievement the one-line claim doesn't capture. Equipment: Stöckli's own signing announcement calls him the brand's first-ever freeride athlete, and its athlete feature confirms he worked directly with Stöckli's development team on a custom ski (specific flex characteristics, custom geometry, construction tuned to his aggressive style) - no public model name exists since it's a personal development project. Roxa listed as his boot sponsor across his sponsor roster; no specific boot model found.
Sponsors: Red Bull; Stöckli; Roxa; Norrøna; F-One Kites; Manera; SunGod; Honda Suisse; Silvaplana Engadin; BCGE; One Way Sport
