About Matt Graham
Australian freestyle skier from Gosford, NSW, nicknamed 'Mogul Matt'; joined the Perisher Winter Sports Club mogul program at age six. Four-time Olympian (2014 Sochi, 2018 PyeongChang, 2022 Beijing, 2026 Milano Cortina) and dual Olympic medalist: silver in moguls at 2018 PyeongChang and bronze in dual moguls at 2026 Milano Cortina. Won the moguls Crystal Globe in 2020-21, the first Australian male moguls skier to do so since Dale Begg-Smith. Five-time World Championship medalist (most of any Australian winter sports athlete), including a 2023 Bakuriani double medal (silver moguls, bronze dual moguls) and a 2025 Engadin double (5th moguls, bronze dual moguls won despite a major crash in the semifinal the week prior). At the 2026 Olympics, finished 5th in moguls (teammate Cooper Woods won gold) then won dual moguls bronze, defeating Japan's Takuya Shimakawa after losing his semifinal to Ikuma Horishima - forming the sport's second 'dad podium' with Horishima and Mikael Kingsbury, after the trio first shared one at Almaty 2025. Co-flag bearer for Australia at the 2026 opening ceremony alongside Jakara Anthony. Studying a combined Civil Engineering/Business degree at the University of Newcastle.
2026 Olympics: 5th (moguls), bronze (dual moguls). 2018 PyeongChang: silver (moguls). 2020-21: moguls Crystal Globe. Career: 5 World Cup wins, 29 WC podiums, 5 World Championship medals. OWIA lists 'Marker Protection' as a sponsor line distinct from skis/boots - ambiguous whether this denotes Marker ski bindings or a body-protection product line, so no binding gear row was added for this relationship. Oakley (goggles, per OWIA) not broken out to a specific product/model.
Sponsors: ID One (skis), Dalbello (boots), Marker (protective gear), Oakley, IFM Investors, XTM - per OWIA's (Olympic Winter Institute of Australia) own official athlete page
