About Mathilde Gremaud
Swiss freestyle skier from Fribourg, competing for La Berra, an 11-time X Games medalist. Took Olympic slopestyle silver at Pyeongchang 2018, then became the first freestyle skier to hold both World and Olympic slopestyle titles at once after winning both in 2022-23 (Olympic gold at Beijing 2022, World Championship gold in 2023). In 2020 she became the first woman to land a switch double cork 1440 in competition. In 2024 she became the first woman to win three FIS crystal globes in one season. Won a second Olympic slopestyle gold at Milano Cortina 2026, edging Eileen Gu by 0.38 points (86.96 to 86.58).
2022 Olympic slopestyle gold and 2023 World Champion slopestyle both confirmed. In 2024 she became the first woman to win three FIS crystal globes in one season (slopestyle, big air, and overall park & pipe) - confirmed via Fischer's own dated season-recap article (published 1 May 2024, describing the just-completed 2023-24 World Cup season: Chur, Stubai, Beijing, Copper Mountain, Laax, Mammoth, Tignes, Silvaplana). 2026 Olympic slopestyle gold confirmed (86.96 vs Eileen Gu's 86.58). Her big air (and slopestyle, and overall) Crystal Globes were won in the 2023-24 season, not 2022-23, per the same Fischer season-recap source. '2026 X Games BA gold' is now confirmed: she won X Games Aspen 2026 big air gold with 94.66 points, the first woman ever to land a nose butter double cork 1260 in X Games history, ahead of Kirsty Muir (silver) and Megan Oldham (bronze) - source: SBC Skier and Newschoolers' own X Games 2026 recaps.
Sponsors: Fischer (skis, boots), Red Bull - confirmed via Gremaud's own official Fischer athlete page and Red Bull's long-running athlete partnership coverage.
