About Marte Monsen

Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in downhill, super-G and giant slalom, born 27 January 2000 in Drammen; races for Aron Skiklubb (Aron SK). Younger sister of alpine skier Marcus Monsen. Competed at the 2017, 2018 and 2019 Junior World Championships (best result: 5th, giant slalom, 2018). Made her World Cup debut in December 2018 in Courchevel. Won the overall and giant slalom Europa Cup titles in 2020-21, the first Norwegian woman to win the Europa Cup overall since Kristina Riis-Johannessen in 2017.
