About Markus Eder
Italian (South Tyrolean) freeride skier and freestyle-influenced big-mountain rider. Won the 2019 Freeride World Tour Ski Men title with wins at Hakuba and Fieberbrunn plus a 2nd at Kicking Horse. Best known outside competition for the 2021 Red Bull film segment 'The Ultimate Run,' which combines a big-mountain freeride line with park-style tricks (switch landings, off-axis spins) and is regarded as one of the most-watched ski films ever made.
FWT's own results page confirms Eder topped the 2019 Ski Men standings (8700 points: 1st at Hakuba, 2nd at Kicking Horse, 1st at Fieberbrunn, 15th at Ordino Arcalis, 6th at Xtreme Verbier).
