About Marius Lindvik

Norwegian ski jumper from Frogner i Sorum who represents Raelingen SK. Won individual gold, silver in Junior World Championships (2016 Winter Youth Olympics) age-group events, and made his senior World Cup debut in December 2015, though he didn't return to the circuit until January 2018 in Zakopane. Won individual gold in the large hill event at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. At the 2025 Nordic World Ski Championships in Trondheim, he was disqualified from the individual large hill event (having originally placed 2nd) after a suit-manipulation scandal, though he retained the individual normal hill title he had won days earlier; he accepted a three-month competition ban in August 2025 alongside teammate Johann Andre Forfang, both denying knowledge of the suit modifications. At the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics he won silver in the Team Normal Hill event, while placing 12th individual normal hill and 32nd individual large hill.

2025-26 World Cup: 12th overall, 602 points (FIS official cup standings). Career: 2022 Beijing Olympics individual large hill gold. 8 individual WC wins, 24 individual podiums. 2025 Worlds (Trondheim): retained individual normal hill gold; DQ'd from individual large hill (had placed 2nd) in the suit-manipulation case; accepted 3-month ban (Aug 2025). 2026 Olympics (Milano Cortina): SILVER Team Normal Hill; 12th individual normal hill; 32nd individual large hill.

Skis per FIS's official athlete database (Skis: BWT).

Ski jumping race ski produced and supplied by BWT (Best Water Technology), an Austrian water-treatment company that states on its own corporate site: 'BWT is the official ski jumping producer and thus supplier of selected top ski jumping athletes' - i.e. BWT is the equipment brand itself (not merely a sponsor logo on another maker's ski), comparable to how Red Bull's Van Deer/Augment operates its own ski brand.
