About Marco Odermatt

Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in giant slalom, super-G and downhill. Four-time overall World Cup champion (2022-2025) and Switzerland's most successful male World Cup skier with 54 career wins (29 GS, 17 SG, 8 DH) and 101 podiums through the 2025-26 season. Clinched the World Cup overall, downhill and super-G titles in 2025-26, taking his fourth consecutive super-G Crystal Globe after the discipline's closing race in Courchevel was cancelled. At the Milano-Cortina 2026 Olympics he won silver in giant slalom and in the team combined event plus bronze in super-G (4th in downhill), adding to his 2022 Olympic giant slalom gold for four career Olympic medals overall (1 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze).
