About Mackenzie Boyd-Clowes
Veteran Canadian ski jumper from Calgary, Alberta (Altius Nordic Ski Club), nicknamed 'MBC'. First Canadian to jump 200m+ (205m, Harrachov, Feb 2013). Part of the history-making Canadian team that won bronze in the inaugural Olympic Team Normal Hill event at Beijing 2022 (with Alexandria Loutitt, Matthew Soukup and Abigail Strate) — Canada's first-ever Olympic ski jumping medal. Took a roughly two-and-a-half-year break after the 2022-23 season, returned to competition in September 2025, and qualified for a fifth Olympic Games at Milano Cortina 2026 (the most of any Canadian ski jumper), where he announced his retirement and competed in his final individual events (45th, Normal Hill, 9 Feb 2026; 45th, Large Hill, 14 Feb 2026).
Canada finished 3rd (844.6 pts) with roster Loutitt/Soukup/Strate/Boyd-Clowes. FIS lists the event as 'Team Normal Hill' (mixed-gender team format), commonly reported in media as the 'mixed team' event.
