At the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics he won gold in halfpipe (94.25) and bronze in big air, becoming the first New Zealand skier to win an individual gold medal at any Winter Youth Olympics; teammate Finley Melville Ives took silver in the same halfpipe final, marking the first time two New Zealanders shared a podium at any Winter Olympic Games event. At the 2025 FIS World Championships he became the first skier to land a triple corked rotation in an actual freeski halfpipe competition, finishing 4th (90.75). Made his Olympic debut at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games (did not advance to the final) and closed the 2025-26 World Cup season by beating Henry Sildaru to claim his maiden World Cup victory at the Silvaplana season finale (93.25 vs. 88.00).
