About Liv Moritz
American alpine ski racer from Vail, Colorado, born 28 November 2004; began skiing at age three and races for the University of Denver Ski Team, where she is also an NCAA Division I soccer player - a rare dual-sport college athlete. Has a twin sister, Kjersti Moritz, also a competitive skier. Introduced to ski racing by her parents, who raced when they were younger; alternated between racing and freeskiing (slopestyle, halfpipe) growing up. Had a standout 2022-23 season: 3rd in super-G at the U.S. Alpine Championships, 2nd in slalom at NorAm Finals, and qualified for World Juniors. Made her World Cup debut in giant slalom at Kronplatz in the 2024-25 season and won the NorAm Cup women's slalom discipline title.
Club/team: University of Denver Ski Team. Twin sister Kjersti Moritz also races for US Ski & Snowboard.
