About Lisa Theresa Hauser
Austria's most successful female biathlete (WSV Kitzbühel, army athlete). Competed at the 2013 World Championships and 2014 Sochi Olympics before a breakthrough 2020-21 season: her first individual World Cup podium (3rd, Oberhof sprint) led into the 2021 World Championships in Pokljuka, where she became the first Austrian woman to win a biathlon World Championship gold, taking the mass start title along with silver in the pursuit and silver in the mixed relay - the first athlete ever to win that exact medal combination at a single Championships. Topped the individual World Cup discipline standings that season with two wins and five podiums. Seven career World Cup victories to date.
