About Liliane Gagnon

Canadian cross-country skier (Club Skibec Nordique) who started skiing at age 6 and competing at age 8. A three-time FIS U23 World Championship medallist: she anchored Canada's mixed 4x5km relay to gold in 2024 (with Derek Deuling, Jasmine Drolet, and Max Hollmann), then added individual bronze medals in the women's 10km freestyle and 20km mass start classic at the 2025 U23 Worlds. Made her World Cup debut in December 2022 and posted her career-best individual World Cup result (9th, 20km mass start free) at Goms in January 2024. Made her Olympic debut at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games after previously representing Canada at the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics.

Her U23 'world champion' status comes from the 2024 mixed relay gold, not an individual title; her two 2025 U23 medals were bronze, per The Globe and Mail and CBC Sports coverage.
