About Landon Wendler
American freestyle skier from Steamboat Springs, Colorado, competing for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Won the U.S. Junior National Championship in moguls in 2018, qualifying for the FIS Junior World Championships, and has accumulated 10 Nor-Am Cup podiums, including a moguls win at Killington (2020) and a dual moguls win at Val St. Come, Canada (2022). Earned his first career World Cup podium (3rd place) on 9 March 2024 at Almaty, Kazakhstan. Selected to the 2026 U.S. Olympic team in January 2026; competed in both moguls (17th) and dual moguls at the Milano Cortina Games, advancing to the men's moguls final alongside teammate Charlie Mickel.
FIS bio's Boots/Poles fields are blank. As with Cavet, FIS's Olympic dual moguls results table shows a numeric '2' position code for Wendler that would nominally suggest a silver medal, but this conflicts with the confirmed dual moguls podium (Kingsbury gold, Horishima silver, Graham bronze) already documented elsewhere in this database from independently corroborated sources; treated as a likely results-table artifact and not reported as an actual placement. Wikipedia's own results table leaves his 2026 dual moguls result blank ('-'), consistent with this caution.
