About Kristin Austgulen Fosnæs
Norwegian cross-country skier (Fossum IF) from Oslo who made her World Cup debut in the 2020-21 season and has become a mainstay of Norway's distance and relay squads. Norwegian national champion in the individual skate and skiathlon events at the Steinkjer national championships. Anchored Norway's relay team at the 2025 World Championships in Trondheim, and won team relay gold plus placed 4th in the 50km classical at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics. Says watching the World Championships live in Oslo in 2011 sparked her passion for the sport, having grown up following her older brothers into skiing.
Sponsors: Fischer (skis, boots); Swix (race poles) - per FIS's official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated equipment field). Also listed on Atomic's official athlete roster page, but that page shows no equipment/gear tiles for her and gives an inconsistent birthdate (30 March vs. FIS/Wikipedia's 30 May); treated as non-authoritative for equipment, so no Atomic gear row was added.
