About Kevin Drury

Canadian ski cross racer whose 15-year run on Canada's national ski cross team ended in February 2026 when he suffered a right-leg injury in a multi-skier crash during the World Cup big final at Kopaonik, Serbia - a crash that also involved Germany's Florian Wilmsmann - yet still finished with a silver medal, the 20th World Cup podium of his career. Won the overall FIS Ski Cross Crystal Globe in 2019-20, the first Canadian man to do so, and won World Championships bronze at Solitude in 2019. Competed at the 2018, 2022 and 2026 Winter Olympics, finishing a career-best 4th at the 2018 PyeongChang Games. A former NCAA alpine ski racer at the University of Vermont (2009-2014, two-time All-American), he switched to ski cross and joined Canada's national ski cross team in 2016.

Career World Cup record (per Alpine Canada and multi-outlet coverage of his Feb 2026 retirement race): 20 World Cup podiums, 2019-20 Crystal Globe (Overall FIS SX World Cup champion), World Championships bronze (Solitude 2019).

Sponsors: Equipment: Elan (skis), Nordica (boots), Leki (poles), Vola Racing (helmet/goggles) - per Alpine Canada's official athlete page, accessed 2026.
