About Kevin Bickner

American ski jumper born in Chicago, Illinois, who competes for the Norge Ski Club and holds the U.S. national distance record at 244.5m, set in Vikersund on 19 March 2017. A three-time Olympian (2018 Pyeongchang, 2022 Beijing, 2026 Milano-Cortina), his 18th-place finish in the individual normal hill at the 2018 Games was the best Olympic result by an American man in 16 years. Made his World Cup debut in the 2014-15 season, briefly stepped away from the sport after the 2022 Beijing Games, then returned in 2024 once USA Ski Jumping partnered with Norway's program for coaching and technology access, going on to make the 2026 U.S. Olympic team as its veteran leader.

U.S. national distance record: 244.5m (Vikersund, 19 Mar 2017). 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics: 18th normal hill (best US men's Olympic result in 16 years at the time), 20th large hill, 9th team large hill. 2022 Beijing: 43rd normal hill, 39th large hill, 10th team. 2026 Milano-Cortina: 33rd normal hill, 20th large hill, 8th super team, 7th mixed team. Retired briefly after 2022, returned in 2024. User's claim 'Top US male ski jumper' confirmed - he is the U.S. distance record holder and most decorated active American male jumper.

Skis per FIS's official athlete database (Skis: Fischer).

Ski jumping race ski from Fischer's ski jumping athlete roster, distinct from the brand's existing alpine and cross-country race-ski entries. Starting the 2025-26 season, Fischer Sports' ski jumping skis carry a co-branding partnership with the unrelated German fastening-technology company 'fischer Group', featuring the fischer Group's 'DuoPower' anchor-product branding on the skis alongside the Fischer Sports logo - this is a sponsorship/branding tie-up, not a new ski model name.
