About Keely Cashman
American World Cup alpine ski racer from northern California (born in Sonora, raised in the Strawberry/Twain Harte area), born 4 April 1999; races for Team Palisades Tahoe, coached in part by her father John. Made her World Cup debut in January 2017. Won bronze in the combined at the 2020 Junior World Championships. A serious training crash in the 2020-21 season left her briefly unconscious with concussion symptoms, an 8-day hospitalization, a minor MCL strain, hip hematomas and temporary foot numbness, ending that season early; she also missed the 2021 World Championships through injury. Represented the US at the 2022 Winter Olympics (27th super-G, 17th downhill, top American finisher in both) and the 2026 Winter Olympics (15th super-G, 15th team combined alongside close friend AJ Hurt), plus the 2025 World Championships. Breakthrough 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons produced her best World Cup results: 6th in the Garmisch super-G and 5th in Tarvisio, along with a 10th in the Val d'Isere super-G. US giant slalom national champion in 2019.
FIS Code 6536213. Career: 0 World Cup podiums, best finishes 5th (SG, Tarvisio, Jan 2026) and 6th (SG, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Jan 2025). US giant slalom national champion, 2019. Bronze, combined, 2020 Junior World Championships. 2 Olympic appearances (2022, 2026); 1 World Championship appearance (2025). 2020-21 season ended early by a serious training crash (concussion symptoms, 8-day hospitalization).
