About Kaila Kuhn

American aerial skier born 8 April 2003 in Boyne City, Michigan. Put on skis at 18 months old; a competitive gymnast until age 12, when U.S. teammate Winter Vinecki encouraged her to switch to aerials after seeing a video of her on the trampoline. Made her FIS Freestyle World Championships debut in 2019 as the youngest member of the U.S. national aerials team, and represented the United States at the 2022 Beijing Olympics (8th individually, 85.68 points). Her breakthrough came before the 2024-25 season when she transitioned from doubles to triples - a jump few women on the World Cup tour hit regularly - and she rode it to a historic 2025 World Championships in Engadin: gold in individual aerials (105.13 points) and gold in mixed team aerials (344.63 points, with Christopher Lillis and Quinn Dehlinger), becoming the first aerialist ever to win two golds at a single World Championships and the youngest American to win an individual aerials world title. Claimed her first career World Cup victory at the season-ending Lake Placid stop on 12 January 2026 and finished 3rd overall in the 2025-26 World Cup standings (279 points). At the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, finished 5th in individual aerials and won gold in mixed team aerials alongside Connor Curran and Christopher Lillis - the U.S.'s second consecutive mixed team aerials Olympic title.

FIS competitorid=221307, FIS Code 2534233. 2025-26 World Cup points total (279) independently verified by summing her season's individual cup-point entries in FIS's own results table. FIS official bio's Skis/Boots/Poles fields are all blank.
