About Juliane Seyfarth
German ski jumper (WSC 07 Ruhla) from Eisenach, Thuringia, born just before German reunification into a ski jumping family (both father and grandfather jumped). Made her Continental Cup debut in July 2004 and became the first-ever official Junior World Champion in ski jumping after winning the 2006 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Kranj. Her career-high World Cup overall finish was 3rd, in the 2018-19 season. Remarkably, she remains an active World Cup competitor 22 years after her debut, representing Germany at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics at age 36.
She is one of the longest-serving athletes in women's ski jumping history, with a 22-year career (2004-2026) that includes being the sport's first-ever official Junior World Champion (2006) and a 3rd-place World Cup overall finish (2018-19). Still an active Olympian at 36, competing at Milano Cortina 2026.
