Austrian World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in slalom, giant slalom and alpine combined, born in Bludenz and racing for SC Warth-Vorarlberg. Son of Hubert Strolz, gold medalist in combined at the 1988 Calgary Olympics; the pair became the first father-son duo to win Olympic alpine skiing gold. Made his World Cup debut in the Val d'Isere giant slalom in December 2013 but struggled for years to score points and was at one stage dropped from the Austrian federation squad, self-funding his equipment and training.
