About Johannes Aujesky
Austrian ski cross racer who switched from alpine racing and made his World Cup debut on home snow at Kreischberg in January 2014. Claimed his first World Cup podium in February 2024 at Alleghe, then backed it up with a 3rd and a 4th place at Innichen the same month. Finished 8th overall in the 2025-26 World Cup with 410 points and competed at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics in Livigno, where he was eliminated in a surprise result in the last heat of the round of 16, finishing 20th. Often described as both a "Retzer" (from his hometown of Retz) and a "Göstlinger" in Austrian press, as he races for Schiclub Göstling-Hochkar; born in Scheibbs, Lower Austria.
2025-26 World Cup: 8th overall, 410 points (FIS official cup standings, final after 16 races). First World Cup podium: Alleghe, Feb 2024. 2026 Olympics (Livigno): 20th, eliminated in the round of 16.
