About Indra Brown
Australian halfpipe skier born January 29, 2010 in East Melbourne; first clicked into skis at age five and spent several years living in Canada as a child, where a coach introduced her to freeski halfpipe at age 12. Made a historic World Cup debut in the 2025-26 season: 3rd at Secret Garden (13 Dec 2025, best-ever Australian World Cup debut result), 2nd at Copper Mountain (20 Dec 2025), then 1st at Calgary (3 Jan 2026) for her maiden World Cup win - becoming the youngest Australian to win a World Cup medal and, separately, the youngest to win a World Cup event in any winter sport. Became the second freeski athlete ever (after Jennie-Lee Burmansson) to podium in each of her first three World Cup starts. Won X Games silver in the superpipe on her Games debut in January 2026 (behind World Champion Zoe Atkin), the youngest medalist in the event's history. Named the youngest-ever Australian Winter Olympian and finished 5th in the halfpipe final at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games - the second-highest finish by an Australian Winter Olympic teenager in history, behind only Jakara Anthony's 4th in 2018.
Finished the 2025-26 World Cup season ranked number one in halfpipe on 290 points, from one win and three podiums in four starts, and went into the Olympics as the world number one. Won her first World Cup at Calgary in 2026 and took X Games superpipe silver behind Zoe Atkin.
