About Hunter Maytin
American halfpipe skier from Aspen, Colorado, who grew up across the street from Buttermilk Mountain and trains with the Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club. Finished 5th in halfpipe at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon, South Korea - the best result among American entrants. Completed his first full World Cup season in 2025-26, still chasing a maiden World Cup final; recent results include 11th at the Secret Garden World Cup and a qualifying-round score of 61.25 at the U.S. Grand Prix at Copper Mountain.
No Wikipedia page exists for him; relied on Aspen Times/Post Independent local coverage and U.S. Ski & Snowboard team announcements instead.
Sponsors: No ski/boot/binding or other equipment sponsor could be confirmed via any source found (his U.S. Ski & Snowboard athlete page did not return readable content on direct fetch); a family-run GoFundMe campaign titled 'Keeping Hunter Maytin's Olympic Ski Dreams Alive' suggests his campaign is largely self/family-funded rather than brand-sponsored at this stage of his career.
