About Hunter Henderson
American freestyle skier from New Hampshire, competing in slopestyle and big air, riding for Waterville Valley Black Bears. Started skiing at age two; his mother enrolled him in the Park City, Utah freeski program (slopestyle/big air) rather than moguls by accident, which set his competitive path. At 16, became the first skier to land 1620 double corks in all four takeoff directions during a U.S. Freeski Rookie Team training camp in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. Currently pursuing an online economics degree at the University of Utah while competing on the World Cup circuit.
2025-26 World Cup: 4th, Silvaplana slopestyle (28 Mar 2026, 91.20 pts); 42nd, Tignes big air. Competed at Secret Garden (China) as one of six U.S. skiers in Big Air World Cup qualifying for Milano Cortina 2026. Has a sibling ('Henderson Siblings') also competing at U.S. Big Air events per US Ski & Snowboard coverage.
