About Hans Grahl-Madsen
Norwegian World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in slalom and giant slalom, from Bergen and competing for Fana IL; moved to Geilo at age 16 to further his ski career. Bronze medalist (team event) at the 2023 Junior World Championships in St. Anton, and gold medalist (team event) plus bronze (individual slalom) at the 2024 Junior World Championships in Haute-Savoie. Made his World Cup debut in the Bansko giant slalom on 10 February 2024. Broke through in the 2025-26 season with four European Cup wins (two slalom, two giant slalom), 2nd overall in the European Cup standings, a 6th-place World Cup slalom result at Val d'Isere, and a share of the Norwegian national slalom title alongside Timon Haugan. Signed with Van Deer-Red Bull Sports for the 2026-27 season, moving from Head and joining fellow Norwegian Timon Haugan on Marcel Hirscher's team.
