About Grace Elden
American freeskier from Montana (better known by her social handle @GraceShreds), known for a style-first, non-competitive approach favoring buttering, drags and creative rail/knuckle riding over technical scoring. Grew up skiing from before age two with her family, began competing in USASA around age 14-15, and cites hometown mentor Maggie Voisin as a major early influence. At 16 she dislocated her femur from the hip joint, spending roughly six months in a wheelchair after doctors said she might not ski at the same level again; she made a full comeback. Received a last-minute invite to X Games Aspen 2026 (the call came on New Year's Eve, 25 days before the event), competed in the Women's Knuckle Huck despite a 102-degree flu fever the week prior, landed a nosebutter 720 past the third line of the Big Air knuckle, and took a hard fall on her final attempt.
No Wikipedia page or FIS competitor profile was located, consistent with her being a content-first/style skier rather than a full FIS-circuit competitor.
