About Estelle Alphand

Swedish World Cup alpine ski racer who competes across all disciplines, born 23 April 1995 in Briancon, France; daughter of former World Cup overall champion and rally driver Luc Alphand and older sister of World Cup speed skiers Nils Alphand (existing entry id 22) and Sam Alphand (existing entry id 52), both of whom race for France. Competed for France as a junior, winning gold in super-G and silver in giant slalom and super combined at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games (Innsbruck, 2012), before switching national affiliation to Sweden (her mother Anna-Karin's home country) ahead of the 2018 season after falling off the French team. The switch revived her career: she reached top-30 world cup start positions in both slalom and giant slalom and posted her best World Cup finish, 5th in slalom at Lienz, on 28 December 2017. Won a silver medal in the mixed team event at the 2021 World Championships with Sweden. Has competed at two Winter Olympics (2018, 2026) and four World Championships (2021-2025).

FIS Code 197616. Wikipedia lists her competing in all four disciplines (SL, GS, SG, DH) with zero career World Cup podiums, so 'GS skier' somewhat overstates a single specialty - GS is simply one of several events she races, with a best-ever discipline ranking of 19th (2018 and 2025). Career: 0 World Cup wins, 0 podiums, best individual finish 5th (SL, Lienz, 28 Dec 2017). 2 World Championship medals across 4 appearances (2021-2025): silver, mixed team event, 2021. 2 Olympic appearances (2018, 2026), no medals. Third sibling from the Alphand family in this database, alongside brothers Nils (id 22) and Sam (id 52).

Sponsors: Head (skis, boots) and Leki (poles) - per FIS official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated equipment fields) as of 2026. SHRED. (helmet, goggle) - per skiracing.com coverage of Ski Team Sweden Alpine's partnership with SHRED, in which Alphand (a Swedish national team member) appeared in promotional images for the brand's products; this is a team-level partnership rather than an individually-confirmed personal sponsorship, so treated as brand-confirmed with that caveat noted.
