About Endre Strømsheim
Norwegian biathlete from Oslo (trains out of Rykkinn), and 2025 World Champion in the mass start after a breakthrough 2023-24 debut season on the elite World Cup circuit - three top-15 finishes at the World Championships and two World Cup podiums including a maiden victory, despite not being selected for the full national elite team that year. Switched his entire ski and boot fleet to Madshus ahead of the 2023-24 season (per Madshus's own announcement), aiming for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics. Career totals include 3 individual and 7 total World Cup victories plus 2 World Championship gold medals (2025 mass start and relay).
Per Madshus's own blog post, he was not selected for Norway's full elite national team even after a strong 2022-23 IBU Cup and European Championships showing, and earned his World Cup place via a free pass as IBU Cup overall winner instead.
Sponsors: Madshus (skis, boots) - per Madshus's own official 'signed 4 new World Cup biathletes' announcement (November 2023), confirming he replaced his 'entire quiver of skis and boots.'
