About Emma Weiß
German aerial skier born 22 January 2000 in Albstadt, competing for Freestyle Club Zollernalb. Introduced to aerials by her father Armin Weiß, a former ski ballet skier and 1992 Olympian, who remains her trainer; as the only German competing in the discipline, she has described herself as a 'one-woman business' receiving minimal federation support. Placed 11th in women's aerials at the 2021 World Championships and represented Germany at both the 2022 and 2026 Winter Olympics, finishing 12th individually at the 2026 Milano Cortina Games. Has two career World Cup podiums: 3rd at Lac-Beauport (6 January 2026) and 2nd at Lake Placid (11 January 2026), both from the 2025-26 season.
FIS competitorid=201875, FIS Code 2532659. FIS's raw status field shows 'Not active' despite her 2025-26 season results and 2026 Olympic start - treated as a site display quirk, not an actual retirement. FIS official bio's Skis/Boots/Poles fields are all blank. Turned-pro year (2015) is a rough estimate based on the earliest season available in FIS's own season filter for her profile, not a confirmed debut date.
