About Doriane Escane

French World Cup alpine ski racer specializing in giant slalom and slalom, born in Perpignan; races for Club des Sports Courchevel (resident at Grignon, France's national training center). Competes in slalom, giant slalom, super-G and downhill and has posted several top-three Europa Cup giant slalom finishes, though her career has been repeatedly interrupted by knee injuries. Represented France at three World Championships (2019, 2021, 2023) and made her Olympic debut at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games, finishing 22nd in the giant slalom (DNF in slalom) - a result she called 'disgusted' with in post-race comments to L'Equipe.

FIS Code 198016. 1 Olympic appearance (2026); 3 World Championships (2019, 2021, 2023), no medals. Head skis, boots, bindings, goggles, helmet AND gloves) attributed to 'the official equipedefrance.com page.' This was checked directly by fetching equipedefrance.com/athlete/doriane-escane, which in fact contains NO equipment/sponsor section at all (only bio, Olympic results, and Equipe de France's own global partner logos, unrelated to her personal gear). Poles, bindings, helmet, goggle and gloves remain unconfirmed for her.

Sponsors: Equipment: Head (skis, boots) - per FIS official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated field) as of 2026; poles sponsor not listed. Note: a 2018 press release (alternativemedia.fr) named MND as a new partner, but this is 8 years old and predates her current Head equipment deal, so it is not carried forward as a current sponsor.
