About Delphine Claudel

French cross-country skier (LA Bressaude Section Ski) based in La Féclaz, who came to the sport via athletics before friends introduced her to skiing. Competing on the World Cup since 2016, she took her first podium (3rd, Alpe Cermis climb) at the 2021 Tour de Ski, and was twice top-ten at the 2022 Beijing Olympics (9th skiathlon, 7th 30km freestyle). Two seasons were cut short by injuries; a foot bone oedema kept her out for nearly two months in the 2025-26 season (30 November-25 January). At the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics she placed 31st in the skiathlon and anchored France's relay to 9th despite a fall that forced her to finish on unfamiliar skis. FIS's biography currently lists her status as 'Active (injured)'.

Sponsors: Salomon (skis, boots); Swix (race poles) - per FIS's official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated equipment field).
