About Danielle Scott
Australian aerial skier born 7 March 1990 in Sydney. Won bronze at the 2013 World Championships in Voss and silver at both the 2017 World Championships (Sierra Nevada) and the 2023 World Championships in Bakuriani. A four-time Olympian (2014, 2018, 2022, 2026) whose Games results steadily improved from 9th (Sochi) to 12th (Pyeongchang) to 10th (Beijing), before a breakthrough silver medal at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics - landing a full-full-full for 102.17 points in the one-jump Super Final, behind only China's Xu Mengtao. Two-time World Cup discipline titleholder (2023, 2024) with 9 individual World Cup wins and 27 podiums across a 13-season career; recorded at least 6 World Cup podium finishes across the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons combined per her FIS results table. Named FIS 'Rookie of the Year' for aerials after her 2012 World Cup debut. Was offered a scholarship for artistic gymnastics at the Australian Institute of Sport at age 7, reportedly the youngest athlete ever offered one there, before transitioning to aerial skiing.
FIS competitorid=153625, FIS Code 2527702. Equipment sponsor (Kaestle skis) confirmed via Kaestle's own athlete roster page - a brand-level confirmation with no specific model named, so linked in Athlete gear to the same generic Kaestle aerials ski product row used for other Kaestle-sponsored aerialists (Christopher Lillis, Winter Vinecki) rather than creating a duplicate unspecified-model row. FIS official bio's own Skis/Boots/Poles fields are blank.
