About Daeyoon Jung
South Korean freestyle skier specializing in moguls, born in Seoul; competes for Lotte. Won silver at the 2023 Junior World Championships (moguls) and a silver double (moguls and dual moguls) at the 2024 Junior World Championships. Earned South Korea's first-ever World Cup podium (2nd place) on 28 February 2025, then a month later became the first South Korean athlete to medal at the FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships, taking bronze in moguls (81.76 points) at St. Moritz 2025. Represented South Korea at the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics: 19th in moguls, 8th in dual moguls.
FIS official athlete biography lists Skis/Boots/Poles all blank. FIS bio's 'Status' field oddly shows 'Not active' despite active, current 2025-26 season results appearing on the same page (including a 2026 Olympics entry) - treated as a stale/inconsistent FIS field, not as a retirement signal. 'Lotte' listed as his FIS club/team is a South Korean conglomerate, likely a corporate sponsor rather than an equipment brand.
