About Charles Gamel Seigneur
French downhill/super-G racer from St. Chaffrey (Serre Chevalier), who won the French U16 super-G title in 2018 and was runner-up at the French U21 downhill championship in 2021 before joining France's junior national team for 2021-22. Finished 5th in the downhill at back-to-back Junior World Championships (2022 in Panorama, 2023 in St. Anton). Made his World Cup debut in the Kvitfjell downhill on 7 March 2025, where after a technical error he was launched airborne, completed a full flip, and landed back on his skis without falling - a widely-shared moment of style even though the run itself ended in a DNF.
Licensed with Club de Ski de Serre Chevalier; FIS lists his residence as St Chaffrey. His mid-air recovery at his Kvitfjell World Cup debut was covered by ski media (Unofficial Networks, Powder) as a standout style moment despite the DNF result.
Sponsors: Equipment: Rossignol (skis) - per FIS official athlete biography (manufacturer-updated field); boots/poles not listed by FIS as of writing.
