About Ben Ogden

American cross-country skier (Stratton Mountain School / SMS T2 Team) born in Lebanon, New Hampshire and raised in Landgrove, Vermont; his older sister Katharine Ogden is also a professional skier. Member of the U.S. Cross Country Ski Team since 2019 and a graduate student in mechanical engineering at the University of Vermont. Won junior relay medals at the FIS Junior World Ski Championships in 2018 (silver), 2019 (gold) and 2020 (gold) alongside teammates including Gus Schumacher and Luke Jager. At the 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics, won silver in the men's sprint classic — the first U.S. men's Olympic cross-country medal since Bill Koch's 1976 silver — and silver in the team sprint with Gus Schumacher, making him the most decorated U.S. male cross-country skier in Olympic history.
