About Alexandria Loutitt

Canadian ski jumper (Altius Nordic Ski Club) of Gwich'in descent, who trains in Bled, Slovenia due to the closure of Calgary's ski jumping facility. In January 2023 she became the first Canadian woman to win a FIS World Cup ski jumping event (Zao, Japan), then became Canada's first-ever ski jumping World Champion by winning the women's Large Hill title at the 2023 World Championships in Planica. Also part of Canada's historic mixed-team bronze at the 2022 Beijing Olympics. Suffered a season-ending ACL injury at the Summer Grand Prix in Val di Fiemme (Predazzo hill), Italy in September 2025, which will keep her out of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics.

Injured Sept 2025' CONFIRMED on both counts; she won the women's Large Hill title at the 2023 World Championships in Planica (Canada's first-ever ski jumping world title), and FIS results confirm her last competition was a DNS at the 20-09-2025 Val di Fiemme Grand Prix Large Hill event, consistent with the ACL injury reported that week. She shares this injury timing with fellow AUT veteran Eva Pinkelnig, injured at the same Predazzo venue around the same period -- both will miss Milano Cortina 2026.
