At that same Montafon 2026 race he also became the oldest male athlete to podium in a World Cup ski cross event, at 40 years, 1 month and 14 days. Silver medalist at the 2022 Beijing Olympics and bronze medalist at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Games; won the 2021 World Championship (Idre Fjall) and the 2012-13 overall Crystal Globe.
